Conduct Record: https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON31-1-47$init=CON31-1-47p211 James Wilkinson, tried Nova Scotia Ct. Martial, 24th Aug 1836, 14 years. Transported for Desertion. Gaol Report, none. Hulk report, Good. Single. Stated this offence, Desertion about 7 days, once branded for Desertion 1 month and 6 weeks. Surgeon’s Report: gave information of the mutiny on board by letter. Recorded in his favour for his highly praiseworthy conduct uon the occasion of an attempt at Mutiny on board the Convict ship Sarah, when on her passage from England in giving information and maintaining the discipline of the ship, by which the attempt was happily frustrated. Vide memo Princ. Supt. 6th April 1837. Various incidents recorded. T. of L. 25/8/45. Recommd. for a C. Pardon for the colonies, 13/10/46. Approved 23/11/47.
