Belfast Quarter Sessions. John Wilkinson, for stealing a piece of silk, at Belfast, on 6th December last, the property of Robert Haliday and Co., and Elizabeth Dyer, for receiving the same knowing it to have been stolen. John Wilkinson submitted. Elizabeth Dyer, guilty. Wilkinson to be transported seven years; Dyer to be imprisoned nine months. Belfast News-Letter, 17 Jan 1840
