William Cranmer was 20 years old when indicted for stealing 1 saddle, value £2, 2 bridles, value £2, and 1 martingale, value 10s., the goods of Charles Finch. 21/2/1822: On list of prisoners assigned. Listed as Cranmore. Dec. 1824: On lists of convict servants maintained by George Druitt in 1821-1824. Listed as Cramner. 10,6/12/1824: To take charge of George Palmer's grazing run. Oct. 1825: On muster list of Government servants and free men maintained at Mount Druitt from 1/01/1824-1/10/1825. Listed as Crammer. 1826: TOL Melville. 26/9/1827: COF. Renewed 26/8/1829 and 7/3/1844. 22/5/1830: Permission to marry Sarah Jones (Sovereign) age 20. William was 30 years old and free. Found no children. 13/7/1835: Publican's License for the Hope & Anchor, Pitt & Market Sts., Sydney. 1858: William died, presumably in Sydney but definately in NSW.
