1825 Journey. On Saturday morning (3 Dec) arrived from London and Dublin, the ship Henry Porcher, Captain John Thompson, with 175 male prisoners, having lost one man - the rest in good health. She sailed from London the 10th of July, and Dublin the 5th of August. The guard comprises a detachment of the 47th Regiment, under the orders of Captain Donaldson. The Surgeon Superintendent is Dr. CARTER, R. N. Sydney Gazette, 5 Dec 1825.

Convict Notes
Salisbury. The following are the names, ages, and alleged offences of the prisoners:— ... Harry Wait, 22, and Wm. Hawkins, 18, assault and robbery; ... Salisbury Journal, 7 March 1836. -------------------------------------------------- HARRY WAITE and WM. HAWKINS were charged with assaulting John Durston on the King's highway, and robbing him 2 half-sovereigns and 7 half-crowns at Corsham. It appeared that the prosecutor had been to Chapel Corsham on the evening of the 27 Sept., and that on his return home, the prisoners pulled him from his horse, and robbed him.—Death recorded. Devizes Gazette, 10 March 1836. ---------------------------------------------------- The following convicts have, during the week, been removed from Fisherton Gaol, and put on board the Leviathan Hulk, at Portsmouth, in order for transportation, viz : William Hawkins, Harry Waite, Thomas Burge, Henry Smart, Jeremiah Bray, James Sawyer, and John Hayward, convicted of highway robbery; and John Reeves, convicted of burglary, all to be transported for life. Benjamin Woodward, for receiving stolen property, and John Ashley for stealing fowls, to be transported for seven years. Devizes Gazette, 26 May 1836.
