THE YORK HERALD AND GENERAL ADVERTISER SATURDAY JANUARY 15 1820 ISSUE 1533 CITY OF YORK CHRISTMAS SESSIONS Yesterday the Christmas quarter sessions for the city were held in the guildhall before the right hon. Lord Mayor. The court proceeded to try William Hays Aged 17 charged with stealing two pairs of Boots and one pair of shoes from Mr Ambrose Collier, shoemaker. ????gate. Guilty, to be transported for seven years
