William Kirwan Age 20 (on Cadet) Patrick Doran Age 17 James Malone Age 38 (also on Cadet) Patrick McDonald Age 35 The above were co-offenders and were tried together at Dublin on the 5th Feb 1844 William Kirwan/Kerwin Married convict Margaret Kelleher from the convict ship Greenlaw which arrived in Hobart in 1844. Both were convicted for 7 years. They moved to Victoria via Tarraville in Gippsland and then on to Berwick, near Melbourne where they raised a big family. William is buried in the cemetery in St.Kilda, Melbourne.
William was convicted of stealing lead & brass, at Dublin City Native Place: Dublin Father: Thomas Mother: Mary Sisters: Mary, Catherine & Bridget Aged 20yrs; 5'6 1/2"; single; Roman Catholic; Dairyman. Ship's Surgeon's Report: Good
