For fourteen years: Charlotte Scott, and Wm. ...for picking the pocket of Jas. Hunt of 1£. ?s Bath Chronicle, 9 April 1818.  Somerset Assizes.—These Assizes commenced at the Castle in Taunton on Saturday, the 28th ult. Charlotte Scott and William Lewis, for stealing from James Hunt 1£. ?s. were sentenced to be transported for 14 years; Oxford University and City Herald, 11 April 1818. ------------------------------------------------------------- Colonial Secretary Index.
