Convict Notes
William Tisdale pleaded guilty to the charge of stealing in the dwelling-house of John Bayley, at Tipton, on the 24th of March, sixteen sovereigns, two 1£. Bank of England notes, eight half-crowns, twenty shillings in silver, and other articles, his property. Mr. Baron Gurvey told the prisoner that having been convicted before, it was evident that hard labour and confinement had not had any good effect upon him. To be transported for life. Staffordshire Advertiser, 3 Aug 1833.
