The Proceedings of the Old Bailey Born 1792. Place of birth Dundee. Gender female. Height 5' 2.5". Religion Catholic. Hair brown (dark brown). Eyes grey (dark grey, sunk in head wrinkled). Distinguishing marks scar (sm. scar on left hand). CATHERINE WILLIAMS. Theft; pocket-picking. 25th October 1827. 2204. CATHERINE WILLIAMS was indicted for stealing, on the 24th of October , 1 watch, value 2l., and 1 seal, value 2s., the goods of John Roddam , from his person . JOHN RODDAM. On the 24th of October I met the prisoner on Cock-hill, Ratcliff-highway, and went home with her; I was quite tired, and could not get on board my ship; I gave her 2s. for a bed, and went to bed with her in her room: GUILTY . Aged 35. Transported for Seven Years .
