Family connections for Eleanor (Williams) are: WILLIAMS Eleanor (Williams) was born about 1767. She was tried with 1other (John (Williams alias Schofield) for breaking entering & stealing, on 23 5 1798, linen shifts etc of Michael (Sullivan) at Old Bailey, sentenced to 7years for stealing only, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 18 7 1798 after a voyage of 6.5months on BRITANNIA (not 1803 on HMS GLATTON as notated in Smees records). She had a first relationship with Samuel (Perkins).>>> [Some details taken from this Website] Samuel (Perkins) was born about 1773. He was tried for theft of velvet breeches etc of John Jervais (Wright) at Old Bailey on 13 4 1791, sentenced to 7years, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 2 1792 after a voyage of 8months on PITT; much fever & attempts to escape from the ship resulted in deaths of convicts-of the 450convicts on board only 29 were alive at muster in May 1792 (or perhaps only this many could be mustered). His sentence expired in 1801 & he enlisted in 73rd Regiment (NSW Corps) on 13 3 1801 as a private & was detached to (McArthur)s company at Parramatta. In 1805 he was detached to (Savory)s company. He died on 7 7 1806 age33 father of 5children after stumbling with breast complaint on passage boat not far from Parramatta wharf & was buried at St Johns CofE Parramatta. She is recorded in 1814 as off stores wife of J (Turner) with 3children. She died in 1828 age61 mother of maybe 5children. James (Turner) was born about 1792. It seems he married firstly (1of3) Margaret (??? her first marriage). He was tried at Sussex Assizes, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 8 1802 after a voyage of 7months on PERSEUS.] He was issued his Conditional Pardon in 1813. He is recorded at Wilberforce on 28 6 1820, North Richmond on 26 9 1825 & Windsor on 14 10 1826 with wife & 3children. He married thirdlly with permission Ann (Searson) on 8 8 1832 at St Johns CofE Wilberforce. He died on 12 12 1855 age63 father of maybe 2children at Wilberforce Hawkesbury. JOHN WILLIAMS , otherwise SCHOFIELD , and ELEANOR WILLIAMS were indicted for feloniously breaking and entering the dwelling house of Michael Sullivan, about the hour of six in the afternoon, on the 23d of May , no person being therein, and feloniously stealing two linen shifts, value 2s. a man's silk handkerchief, value 5s. a kerseymere waistcoat, value 3s. two muslin caps, value 2s. a cotton counterpane, value 1l. a pair of blankets, value 1s. a pair of linen sheets, value 14s. a pair of pillows and pillow cases, value 16s. a linen table cloth, value 7s. six check aprons, value 4s. six pair of cotton stockings, value 6s. three linen handkercheifs, value 3s. four linen towels, value 1s. 6d. the goods of the said Michael Sullivan . John Williams, GUILTY.(Aged 36.) Eleanor Williams, GUILTY. (Aged 29.) Of stealing only . Transported for Seven years. C1798: Married Samuel Perkins (Pitt 1791) – they had 3 sons, , William, Samuel and John. Samuel Perkins died 7/7/1806. 13/8/1810: Eleanor married James Turner (Perseus and Coromandel 1802) no children listed. C1828: Eleanor died aged 61.
