Family connections for Jane (Williams) are: WILLIAMS Jane (Williams) was born about 1775 & became a housemaid. She was tried for stealing clothing of Mary (Griffith) at Bristol city (Gloucestershire?) Quarter Sessions, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 14 12 1801 after a voyage of 7months on Fleet ship NILE. She was assigned as housekeeper & nurse to John (Pendergast) & his son. She had a relationship with John (Pendergast his second relationship) & produced perhaps 6children. She is listed in 1828 with her family at Cornwallis. She died in 1838 age63 & was buried in family vault at Catholic cemetery Windsor. [Some details taken from this Website] John (Pendergast) was born in 1769 at Dublin Ireland & became a labourer. He was tried for robbery in the 1798 Irish Rebellion at Dublin, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 11 1 1800 after a voyage of 4.5months on MINERVA. He had a first relationship with Catherine (???). In 1802 he had 30acres & 115acres by 1806. He is recorded as (Pender) in some documents. Floods caused sale, unsuccesfully, of some property near Cornwallis in 1808 & from 1810-14. He is listed in 1828 Free by Servitude with his family farmer at Cornwallis. He died on 27 1 1833 age64 father of perhaps 7children at his home in Cornwallis & was buried in family vault at Catholic cemetery Windsor. Jane Williams was 26 years old when convicted of ‘Theft’. She had stolen a item of clothing from a Mrs. Griffith. Jane was assigned to John Pendergast (Minerva 1799) as a housekeeper and as a nurse to his infant son. John had married or had a relationship with a Catherine ???. They had 1 son John (1800-1867). Catherine appears to have died in childbirth. Jane and John then had 5 children. John died 27/1/1833 Jane died in 1838 and was buried on the 3/12/1838 in the Pendergast family vault in the old Catholic cemetery at Windsor with her husband John..
