The guard comprises 30 men of the 1st Foot (Royals), under orders of Lieut. Lewis. Sydney Gazette, 13 Jan 1821.

Manchester Mercury Lancashire, England 13 Apr 1819 WEDNESDAY. MARCH 31 Joseph Williams, for breaking into a dwelling-house at Worfield, and stealing two bags of copper money. 1/3/1820: Joseph arrived VDL - he was 26, 5'5" tall, brown hair, grey eyes, JWAW Man & Woman rt arm.
