Bristol assizes. Elizabeth Bissix, Susannah Robins, and Mary Williams, were severally charged with feloniously assaulting Ellen Franklyn, (wife of Mr. John Frauklyn. of College Green.) and stealing from her person one woollen cloak and one bonnet.—The evidence of Wm. Augustus Swann, Hubert Pidgeon, Win. Taylor, Charles Ball and Thomas Gardiner, having been gone through, the Jury returned Verdict of Guilty. Death. Williams denied being concerned in the robbery on her trial, but has since confessed her guilt in the presence of Mr. Humphries, and others Bristol Mirror, 14 April 1821.
