Theft: stealing from master, Deception: fraud. 4th January 1847 Reference Number t18470104-411 Verdicts Guilty > pleaded guilty Sentences Transportation THOMAS WILLIAMS was indicted for stealing 1 pair of boots, value 5s. the goods of Edwards Hobbs, his master: also for obtaining 2 sovereigns, by false pretences: also for obtaining I sovereign, by false pretences; and that he had been before convicted of felony; to all which he pleaded GUILTY. Aged 17.— transported for seven years. 24/8/1849: TOL Moreton Bay - Altered to Ipswich 18/10/1853. 15/10/1850: TOL Passport - Ticket of Leave 49/0362; On the recommendation of Commissioner of Crown Lands Darling Downs.
