Colonial Secretary's Office 14th September 1825 THE GOVERNOR has been pleased to approve of the following Appointments : - In the District of Windsor - Richard Rainer, Ship Prince of Orange; Thomas Williams, Ship Grenada; and William Ramsay, free, to be Constables, in the Room of Blackmore, resigned, and Kirton and Barrett, dismissed. married Mary Ann Bankin (daughter of another convict, Richard Bankin). believed to have been one of convicts who accompanied Bell in surveying Bell's line of road. Granted ticket of leave, worked as police constable and later as pound keeper.
