William Williams had been twice in prison before, 'bad in every respect', once for poaching 2 months and once for Assault 1 month. William was tried with Edward Power who was also on board. William was single. 22/1/1839: Absconding - to be sent to Port Arthur. 31/1/1840: Kemp/Absconding - 6 months hard labour on the roads. Sentence extended 2 years and sent back to Port Arthur --this continued until about 1845 -- 19/3/1846: Nicholas/Assault & Robbery - committed for trial - 6/10/1848: Free Certificate.
