Staffordshire Epiphany Sessions. Henry Wilshaw and Joseph Loftness were charged with stealing one shirt, the property of Richard Locker, at Trentham. Wilshaw pleaded guilty. Loftness was found guilty. The same Prisoners were also charged with stealing one cotton handkerchief, the property of George Hodson, at Trentham. Wilshaw pleaded guilty. Loftness was found guilty. Wilshaw is an old offender, the present being the fourth time of his appearance at the bar. Both the prisoners were fined sixpence for the first offence. For the second offence, Loftness to be kept to hard labour for twelve months, one month of that of that term in solitude; Wilshaw, on account of his incorrigible habits, to be transported for seven years.
