Family connections for Mary (Wilmott) are: WILMOT Mary (Wilmot) was born about 1786 in Hertfordshire. She was tried for theft of wooden box etc at St Albans Quarter Sessions Hertfordshire, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 29 9 1811 after a voyage of 6months on FRIENDS. She seems to have had a first relationship with ??? (Potter). She married Daniel (Brown his second marriage) on 30 8 1813 at St Matthews CofE Windsor & produced maybe 8children. She is recorded in 1828 at Cornwallis with her family. She died on 5 11 1832 age46 at Windsor mother of 8known children. [Some details taken from this Website] Daniel (Brown) was born on 3 3 1782 & became a bricklayer. He married firstly Ellen (???). He was tried w/1other for stealing printed cotton etc of John (Hawkins) of Water Belchamp Essex at Exeter Assizes, sentenced to death reprieved to Life/7years, held at Chelmsford & arrived in NSW as a convict, leaving his children behind, on 18 1 1812 after a voyage of 5.5months on GUILDFORD. He was recorded in 1818 as a farmer & a builder. He is recorded in 1828 with Conditional Pardon as farmer 50acres Cornwallis with his family. He died on 27 12 1843 age61 father of perhaps 11children.
