Jean Wilson was convicted at Glasgow on 02/10/1850 for stealing a watch. 7yr transportation sentence. Transported to Van Diemen’s Land on the ‘Aurora’, arriving Aug 1851.  4 prior convictions.

Native Place: Bothwell
Single; Presbyterian; read & write; blue eyes; brown hair; 4’6 1/2”; 20 yrs of age; nurse maid.

1851: New Town, VDL.
1853: Warwick Street, Hobart
1853: New Norfolk

02/10/1853: Application for permission to marry Nicholas Dingle (convict per Blundell) - approved.
21/12/1853: Married Nicholas Dingle, Catholic Church, New Norfolk. Jean aged 22yrs, Nicholas 28yrs.
