1830 - Police Office, Hobart Town. 14 January 1830 The undermentioned Prisoners having absconded from their usual places of residence.... No; 896. Joseph Wilson, 5 feet 6 1/2 in. brown hair, blue eyes, age 30, a boatman, tried at Warwick, in July, 1828, 14 years per Roslyn-Castie, native of Whitehaven, tree, moon, and stars, heart and darts inside right arm, unicorn, anchor, and letter R, and mermaid inside left aim, stoat made man. Absconded from government domain garden, in January, 1830. Reward £2. CON23-1-3/CON23-1-3-P017 No; 896 Aged; 28 years old Height; 5 ft 6 1/2 in, Brown hair & blue eyes Trade; Boatman Native Place; Whitehaven KILLED by the falling of a tree. Vide memo of P.S. 11 Dec 1838
