Old Bailey: NATHAN WILSON, Theft > stealing from master, 15th June 1835. Offence: Theft > stealing from master Verdict: Guilty > no_subcategory Punishment: Transportation NATHAN WILSON was indicted for stealing, on the 8th of June, 7 1/2 cwts. of gold, value 1l. the goods of Richard Hall and another, his masters. Occupation: Journeyman- worked as a jeweller. 1837: Aged 34, Assigned to Richard Lang, Raymond Terrace. 6/5/1840: TOL Maitland 5/9/1842: COF 13/1/1846 Sydney Morning Herald: Witness at the trial of Jabez King Heydon - he was described as: a working jeweller for about twenty-five years. 16/9/1848: An elector in the Brisbane Ward. 7/8/1851: Nathan Wilson, of George-street, watchmaker and jeweller. 7/1/1862 Sydney Morning Herald: MARRIAGES. On the 24th ultimo, by the Rev. W. Cuthbertson, Congregational Church, Sydney, Mr. William Platts, of Derbyshire, England, to Eliza, only daughter of Nathan Wilson, Esq., of George-street, Sydney. No marriage listed for Nathan on the NSW BDM - however, 2 daughters Eliza born 1842 and Jane born 1839. 21/8/1862 Sydney Morning Herald: WILSON-August 14th, at his residence, 91, Cleveland-street, Redfern, Nathan Wilson, Esq., aged sixty, after a long and painful illness, formerly of Lower George-street, Sydney. 3/2/1863: Left a Bequest of £20 to the Society for the Relief of Destitute Children.
