We are sorry to observe that there are no less than 83 prisoners in the Castle, for trial, many of them charged with capital offences, viz. …Isaac Hough, 46, and Robert Wilson, 45, for uttering forged notes, at Didsbury and Rusholme .. .. ... Lancaster Gazette, 19 Aug 1820.

New South Wales, Australia, Tickets of Leave, 1810-1869 for Robert Wilson no 31/211 2/5/1831. From Armagh Ireland. 5' 5 3/4" ruddy complexion brown to grey hair hazel eyes pock pitted. Allowed to stay in the Windsor district New South Wales, Australia, Certificates of Freedom, 3/10/1834 cert no 34/1255 New South Wales, Australia, Colonial Secretary's Papers, 1788-1856. 5/4/1825 letter, from Robert Wilson, to petition Governor to unite his wife Lucy to his side. He was an overseer to Thomas Claypole of Windsor (she came per ship Brothers to VDL) 15/1/1825 No objection from Governor to allow Robert Wilson to procede to VDL to be with his wife.
