SHOPLIFTING. - On Saturday evening a
woman named Rosanna Wilson, alias Ramsay,
snatched a piece of satin off the counter of
Messrs. Dawson and Thompson’s shop, George
street, and was making off with it, when she was
observed and secured ; on her being handed
over to the constable the stolen property was
found in her possession. She was forwarded
to the Hyde Paik Barrack Court to be dealt
with.
