Thomas WILSON (stated his proper name however was Samuel Joseph BULLINGS (or BILLINGS) was convicted at Middlesex, London on 8 Sept 1831 for larceny - obtaining a box under false pretense. 7 yr transportation sentence. Had previously spent 12 mths in a House of Correction for robbing his employer. Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the ship 'Isabella' arriving 13 Nov 1833. Married man, a widower. His wife had died 3 yrs ago in February. 2 children. Native place of birth: Windsor Aged 33 yrs; a boot closer; 5'3" height; dark complexion; dark brown hair, going bald of top; brown eyes. Colony of VDL: Clear conduct record apart from being drunk at a Public House, in 1833.
