Registers Court Martial. https://nla.gov.au/nla.obj-1606814005/view Private Walter Wilson, Coldstream Guards, Tried at Cambray, 10 June 1817, Laid before the Prince Regent, 8 Sept 1817. Charges, Wilfully setting fire, and stealing sundry articles belonging to his Master. Sentenced to be hanged by the Court, but recommended & in consequence the Sentence was commuted for Transportation for 14 years. ------------------------------------------------------------- Colonial Secretary Index.
