William Wilson was convicted at the CCC, London on 17/08/1840 for Larceny - steal 2prs Wellington Boots from a shop. 7yr sentence. Gaol Report: previous offences . House of Corrections, twice. Hulk Report: orderly Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Hindostan', arriving 19/01/1841. Aged 16yrs; single; Protestant; 5'0 1/2"; read & write; labourer. Native Place: Ratcliff Highway 2yrs Probation. Various assignments. Several notes of misconduct. Free by servitude 17/08/1847 Discharged to Freedom, Antill Ponds, 21/08/1847.
