Married Mary Ann Nowlan (1826-16/6/1884)on 13/11/1844 at Baptist Chapel, York Street, Launceston, Tasmania. Had 10 children - Elizabeth Ann (1845-1904), John (1847-?), Ann (1847-?), Emily (1849-1994), Sarah Jane (1851-?), William (1853-1880), Daniel Richard (1855-1924), Laurence (1858-1932), James Thomas (1859-?) and Mary Teresa (1861-?). John Windsor died 11/8/1891 of senility.
