Brothers: Joseph; Uriah (transported to VDL per 'Hindostan' 1840). Sisters: Sarah & Mary. Assignment in Colony - to Douglas River Coal Co. (east coast of Tasmania). 04/10/1853: Ticket of Leave 09/12/1856: Certificate of Freedom, Hobart.
Marriage: Permission granted. Married Honora Daley 26/03/1855 Hobart district. (Index records Honora as “Daly” - no ‘e’ in name.) Ref. 396/1855-37. Honora was transported per ‘Blackfriar' 1851. CHILD: John Winterbottom b. 11/04/1856 Spring Bay District, Tasmania. Ref. 364/1856-33.
