James Winteringham was 20 years old when convicted along with Joseph Ellis (also on board Fairlie) and W Dyson Wilburn, who was not listed as being transported - for Breaking into the dwelling house of John Poskitt and stealing a velveteen coat, a silk handkerchief, a mixed silk and cotton handkerchief and a piece of bacon at Maydike. James came from Maydike/Grimsby. 1842: TOL Berrima 22/11/1842: TOL Passport, Berrima Bench - also on 14/11/1845 and 28/4/1847. 10/7/1848: CP No births, deaths or marriages found for James.




1842 April - received Ticket of Leave, of Berrima, in County of Camden.
