4/5/1839 Bolton Chronicle Lancashire, England: BURGLARY.__On Thursday night or early on Friday morning last, the house and shop of Mr. George Senior, Moorside, Bury, was entered by the cellar window, and a quantity of fents, money drawers, pair of shoes, and a quantity of other articles taken away. After athe villains had ransacked the shop they regaled themselves with cold meat and a bottle of ale, &c., in the back yard. On the same day Mr. Andrews came to this town, where be apprehended a most notorious thief named Henry Winward, with the shoes on bis feet, he was in company with gang of thieves, but no trace of the goods could be found. He was committed to the sessions for trial on the same day.
27/4/1840: Henry Winward accidentally fell overboard during the passage and was drowned.
