Joseph Withers, 40, Charles Kerr, 1837, Gloucestershire, labourer, 5 feet 8 inches, sallow and freckled comp, dark sandy mixed with grey hair, brown eyes, sandy whiskers, brown natural mark tipper part of breast, breast hairy, scar betwixt the forefinger and thumb of left hand, from assignee, Mr. Thomas Cook, Dungog, since 2nd September, 1842.
