The following newspaper report refers to a son of Joshua Wolverton, who was also involved in stealing from a bleach green. Last Thursday evening, at hour of eight o'clock, three suspicious persons were found in house of bad fame, in this town, supposed to be part of gang of robbers, concerned with others, in {stealing linens out of the bleach-green of Sir John Burgoyne, at Mallison-bridge,|and M'Cormick and O'Neill’s, at Bumdennet. Oar of them calls himself Crawford Wolverton, son to Wolverton, who was convicted at Omagh Spring Assizes, for stealing linens out of Sir J. Elleyne’s bleach-green; another of them says his name is Samuel Hamilton, and lives near New Building; and the third calls himself Charles M'Garvin, from Augbaloo, in the county Derry. They were individually examined by E. Edie, Esq. a Magistrate, and from the account they gave themselves, with their prevarications, there can be little or no doubt they are notorious robbers, and thrat they follow visible means to maintain themselves. Wolverton ... and attacked, when his sister rushed to his assistance, and, sustaining great injury herself, enabled him to escape a second time into an adjoining house, which, they broke into.
