[New South Wales Government Gazette (Sydney, NSW : 1832 - 1900), [Issue No.96] Page 1375. - 22 August 1851] 1850: Ticket of Leave District: Moreton Bay; Tried: Hertford., [NSW Archives: Ticket of leave butts", NRS-12202 Series Date Range 31-03-1827 to 13-12-1875, [4/4223; Reel 964] ] 22-Aug-1851: Ticket of Leave cancelled for being absent from District. Illegally at large. Prin. Sup, of Convicts' Office Sydney, 22nd August, 1851. THE undermentioned Prisoners of the Crown, holding tickets of leave, being absent from their Districts, are illegally at large. Their tickets of leave are cancelled :- James Wood, Bangalore, 36, Essex, farm laborer, 5 feet 41?2 inches, fair ruddy comp., brown hair and bald in front, hazel grey eyes, scar right side upper lip, scar on right side of forehead, brown scar, back of lower part of left arm, breast, arms, and legs hairy; from Ticket of Leave, Moreton Bay, since June, 1851.
