Family connections for Thomas (Wood) are: Some amendments added Nov 2025. WOOD Thomas (Wood) was born about 1797. He arrived in NSW as a convict on 26 4 1815 after a voyage of 7months on INDEFATIGIBLE. He was living at Portland Head when he married Sarah Mary (Stubbs her second marriage) on 12 7 1822 at St Matthews CofE Windsor. He was Free by Servitude by 1824. He was recorded in 1825 as a settler & 1827 & 1829 as a farmer. Thomas (Wood) does not have an entry on this Website as yet-there are many of the name-this one added by me. Sarah Mary (Stubbs) was born in 1798 in London. She arrived in NSW with her parents on 14 8 1802 after a voyage of 7months on COROMANDEL. She may have had a first relationship with Francis (Fox) & produced 1child.. She may have produced at least 7children in her lifetime: mostly girls. Details of Sarah Mary (Stubbs)s family are given in entry for Francis (Fox MARTHA 1818) on this Website. Thomas (Wood) & Sarah Mary (Stubbs) produced at least 6children mostly girls: 1.William (Wood) was born on 29 2 1819 & baptised on 12 8 1822 w/Sarah at St Matthews CofE Windsor.. He died in 1819 age<1. 2.Sarah (Wood) was born on 16 11 1821 at Portland Head & baptised on 12 8 1822 w/William at St Matthews CofE Windsor. She died on 13 11 1877 age56+. 3.Elizabeth (Wood) was born on 8 10 1822 at Lower Branch & baptised on 16 8 1825 age2 w/Keturah at St Matthews CofE Windsor. She died on 21 7 1884 age61. 4.Keturah (Wood) was born on 24 5 1824 at Lower Branch & baptised on 16 8 1825 age14m w/Elizabeth at St Matthews CofE Windsor. She died on 19 11 1905 age81. 5.Mary (Wood) was born on 17 2 1827 at Lower Portland Head & baptised on 4 11 1827 at St Thomas Wesleyan Sackville Reach. She died on 15 9 1828 age19m & was buried at St Thomas CofE/Wesleyan Sackville Reach. 6.Thomas (Wood) was born on 8 12 1828 at Lower Branch & baptised on 29 3 1829 at St Thomas Wesleyan Sackville Reach.
