Michael Woodlock, age 27, per Norfolk (3) 1832, Tried Tipperary, 1831, Life, pardoned to 14 years, for coining, DOB, 1805, native place, Tipperary, single, Trade: Labourer. Pardoned to 14 years. ------------------------------------------------------ On last Monday night the Cashel Police took into custody Michael Woodlock and his servant man, of Dangan, for having in the house instruments for coining—the die for which was found concealed in a board at the head of Woodlock’s bed. Clonmel Herald, 6 July 1831. Michael Woodlock and Patrick Cleary, by Dr Fitzgerald for having a die and instruments coining in their possession, .. Clonmel Herald, 16 July 1831. —Michael Woodlock, having in his possession a mould for coining shillings — Sentence of death recorded — transportation for life. Tippperary Free Press, 13 August 1831.
