An inquest was held on 15th May at Hobart Town, upon the body of Thomas Woodward, F.S., per Lady Harewood, a fish hawker, aged about 68yrs. Verdict--Natural causes, serous apoplexy. Tasmania Police Gazette, 6th June 1872, p95.
