Family connections for Samuel (Wooller) are: WOOLLER Samuel (Wooller) was born about 1801 & became a labourer. He was tried w/1other for grand larceny/stealing a copper pot, on 4 2 1820, of George (Daniel) at probably Old Bailey on 17 2 1820, sentenced to 7years, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW on 22 9 1820 after a voyage of 5months on AGAMEMNON; he was assigned to Mr (Cox). He was issued his Certificae of Freedom on 17 2 1827. He was an emancipist when he married Charlotte (Mould/s) on 26 5 1828 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. In 1828 he is recorded with his wife & as a labourer employed by his brother in law Simon (Moulds) at Castle Hill. He was recorded in 1830 as farmer at Castle Hill. He died on 17 11 1873 age72 at 287 Elizabeth St South Sydney & was buried at St Stephens cemetery with some of his family. She is recorded with her husband in 1828 at Castle Hill. She died on 13 1 1852 age40 & was buried at St Stephens cemetery with some of her family. Old Bailey 17/2/1820: BENJAMIN MORRIS and SAMUEL WOOLLER were indicted for stealing, on the 4th of February , one copper pot, value 3 s. , the goods of George Daniel . MORRIS'S Defence. I know nothing of it. MORRIS - GUILTY . Aged 18. WOOLLER - GUILTY . Aged 18. Transported for Seven Years. Benjamin Morris arrived per 'Richmond' 1822 to VDL. Samuel was listed as a Govt. Servant to Mr Cox. 17/2/1827: COF 26/5/1828: Married Charlotte Moulds in St. James, Sydney, NSW, daughter of Simon Moulds (Barwell) and Ann Davis (Lady Juliana). They had 7-8 children. 1828 Census: : Shown as a labourer employed by S Mould (Charlotte's brother, Simon) at Castle Hill. 17/11/1873: Samuel died in 287 Elizabeth St South, Sydney NSW and was buried at St Stephen’s Cemetery along with Charlotte who died in 1852 aged 39, and 2 daughters, Sarah Jane aged 13 months and Mary Ann Francis aged 32 and 1 son Thomas aged 38.
