Baptised "bare born" [illegitimate (?)] 27 Feb 1799, Leasingham, Lincolnshire, UK to Charlotte HILLS & William WOOLLEY. Married Ann WALDIN/WALDING/WALDEN 19 May 1818, Dorrington, Lincolnshire. Previous conviction [larceny] 03 May 1821, (tried at Kesteven) of stealing 2 "strikes" [4 bushels] wheat, Dorrington; sentence 6 months prison with hard labour. 6 children. At least 3 daughters (in 1844) and wife (1855) emigrated to Dungog district of NSW, Australia.
