1825 Journey. On Saturday morning (3 Dec) arrived from London and Dublin, the ship Henry Porcher, Captain John Thompson, with 175 male prisoners, having lost one man - the rest in good health. She sailed from London the 10th of July, and Dublin the 5th of August. The guard comprises a detachment of the 47th Regiment, under the orders of Captain Donaldson. The Surgeon Superintendent is Dr. CARTER, R. N. Sydney Gazette, 5 Dec 1825.

John Woolmore was listed as 21 years old on arrival. Birth dates of 1818 1814 and 1813 listed on various sites. Native Place: Hertfordshire. Occupation: Stableman. John was literate, protestant, single, 5'2¼" tall, ruddy and pockpitted complexion, sandy flaxen hair, grey eyes, scrofula marks under left jaw, and on right cheek near the ear, small mole inside lower left arm, small scar cap of right knee. 1837: Aged 19??, Assigned to Mrs. William Harper, Maitland. 1837: Aged 21??, Assigned to Matthew Chapman, Paterson. 1/5/1839: TOL Maitland. No marriage listed on NSW BDM 1863: Died Murrurundi, NSW., aged 45.
