Was in trouble a lot of the time he was a convict. Was a broom maker at the Public Barracks. Got permission to marry Mary McMichan when he was 34. In 1861 he was a General Dealer. Mary died in 1861 and he married Caroline Wilmott. He had two children to Mary. He died in Hobart at the age of 60.
