Salisbury. There were forty prisoners for trial. William Dance, James Dance, and Henry Sudden , for sheep stealing; James Wyre, for felony, Isaac Powel, Betty Wootten and Ann Wootten, for burglary and felony and Joseph Martin, for breaking into a dwelling-house at Whiteparish, in the day time, and stealing from thence three guineas, three half guineas, a seven shilling piece, and a pound note, received sentence of Death.
