Isaac Wordley and John Wordley are committed to our gaol, (by the Rev. William Butts) charged with stealing, from a close in Glemsford, one wether sheep, the property of Mr. David Ling, of Stoke by Clare. Bury and Norwich Post, 15 March, 1820. Saturday, eleven male convicts were removed from Bury Gaol, to be put on board the hulks at Portsmouth, viz. John Austin, John East, Isaac Wordley, and Jas. King, to be transported for life; John Bennett and John Flack, for years; and Joseph Bumpsted, George Gladwin, George Cross, Thomas Sturgeon, and Thomas Smith, for 7 years.
