On the Libraries Tasmania website can be viewed Archive RGD34, Registers of Burials in Tasmania, stating that a William Wooley [sic], off the ship Stakesby, died at Port Arthur [Penal Colony], Van Diemen's Land [later Tasmania] on 1 September 1842, aged 42.
