David Wraith was 45 years old on arrival. Born in Whitehaven, he was married with 4 children, and was transported for "housebreaking & stealing flour, an axe, some sugar & c. the axe belonged to some other individual & I was tried on the second indictment. Wife: Ann Father: Samuel at Wingate's grain Colliery. Brothers: Thomas and Robert at Whitehaven. David was 5'8 1/4" tall, ruddy complexion, black hair, brown whiskers, black eyes, DW on right arm, several blue scars on right and left knee, blue scar on nose, scar on left eyebrow, 2 blue scars on right arm, stout made. Occupation: Collier. 20/8/1846: Emerged from Gang. 2/4/1850: TOL 22/10/1853: Absconded 8/11/1853: TOL Revoked. No further mention found.
