20-Apr-1847: John Anderson, Alexander Wright for the crime of theft by housebreaking. Tried at High Court, Glasgow. Alexander Wright, Verdict: Guilty, Sentence: Transportation - 7 years. Alexander Wright, nailer, Address: Saltmarket Street, Glasgow [Ref: NAS AD14/47/305]

Note: John Anderson, son of William Anderson, poiser loom dresser, Verdict: Guilty, Verdict Comments: Guilty in terms of own confession, Sentence: Imprisonment - 12 months. Note: Pannel cannot write. Pannel to serve sentence in the general prison of Perth.
