18/3/1811: Elwood was buried at the Old Sydney Burial Ground.

Wright Elwood was born in Cambridgeshire in about 1770, he was arrested in 1808 for horse stealing and was sentenced to death at Cambridge assizes whch was then commuted to transportation. He was held on a prison ship in East Anglia until being transferred to the Indian for transportation in 1810.
