James Wright, 23; William Newman, 21; Stephen Mattthews, for stealing one hammer and one piece of chain, value 7d., the property of the Right Hon. The Earl of Romney, at Boxley; also for stealing one copper and one metal cock, value of S, the property of John Hollingworth, Thomas Hollingworth, and John Hollingworth, at Boxley. South Eastern Gazette, 8 July 1834. The undermentioned male convicts were, on  Thursday week, removed from the County Gaol, and put on board the Fortitude Hulk, at Chatham: James Lambert, Edward Charlton, Joseph Wilmott— Transported for life; James Wright, Stephen Matthew, William Newman— Transported for 14 years, ...
