The death certificate shows his occupation as Shoemaker and his residence Harrington St Hobart where members of the family have been living over the years; infact, in 1842, Sarah, his wife, is listed as joint Proprietor and 1844 Sarah died at 15 Harrington St. As the Informant was a Friend, his age may not have been accurate.




Married Sally/Sarah Newton in 1826 in Hobart. Had 2 children - John James 9/11/1831 & Isaac 2/11/1833 both in Hobart
