NOTE: 2 William Wright’s on this voyage. 1st William Wright was transported for pocket picking and was tried at the Old Bailey on 6/5/1818. William Wright was listed as 28 years old on arrival. He was 5'7½" tall, fair ruddy complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes. Native Place: Poplar (looks like) Occupation: Drover.

William is the brother of John Wright also aboard this ship for sheep stealing. John is my 3X Great Grandfather.




Brothers John and William were sentenced to death in 1818 for sheep stealing but were repieved and given a life sentence.
