Charlotte Middleton daughter of Henry Middleton (occupation farmer). Married John Yaxley 1807-1884 (occupation carter)on the 28th August 1840 At St Nicholas church, Gt Yarmouth,Norfolk,England. Convicted of killing Lavina Kerrison. John Yaxley's illegitimate daughter with Mary Kerrison.




Maiden name Middleton, drowned the illegitimate dtr of her husband but manner uncertain and death penalty commuted to life transportation. Married Charles Carpenter (York II) at Hobart on 25 Aug 1845, granted ticket of leave on 10 Jan 1853, died Hobart 2 Feb 1853 after painful illness.
